Low poly winter scene

This project was intended as a follow up to my successful low poly cabin virtual reality experience however this the project had yet to pass the stage of a simple scene / environment.

I choose to use simple pastel colours as I wanted to emphasise the low ploy element of this environment. I personally like the simplified look associated with low poly models, which also require lower processing power to render this means that the experience, once finished, could be viewed comfortably on low end VR setups or mobile devices such as Google Daydream

The project wasn’t completed, mainly due to a lack of knowledge / experience as to how to create an outer boundary  without the need to break the scenes immersion with an invisible barrier or vertical plane to prevent the player leaving the scene. I experimented with the idea of surrounding the scene with trees however found this looked odd, so for the time being this project remains as a couple of nice renders but nothing more. I do however intend to return to this project in the future to turn it into a fully fledged virtual reality experience using unreal engine.
