Low poly fire

This project was initially devised to add to my low poly cabin scene and proved to be one of my most challenging animations I have attempted to date. This project utilised blenders particle system as well as a force field to create the flame effect out of cubes to keep it in line with the low poly environment of the cabin scene. The logs were very simple cylinders with a subdivision surface modifier and the rocks were made with from distorted cylinders and a sub-surf modifier. I find this animation to be very satisfying and really like the its aesthetics. unfortunately I haven’t found a way to port this over to unity which is a shame as I am not able to include it in the log cabin virtual reality experience.

Disclaimer- this model was created with the assistance of a tutorial. thus, it may bear resemblance to other models but it was entirely created by myself.
